The Russian T-34 was designed in 1934 and featured sloped armor. The T-34 featured a 76.2mm cannon and later a 85mm cannon.
The T-34 was fast and easy to produce in large numbers. Its main gun was powerful enough to take on any tank at the time it was introduced. The T-34/85 featured a larger main gun than its preduccesor the T-34/76 and T-34. Though the T-34/85 had a larger more powerful gun its anti tank rounds for the 85 proved inacurate.
The T-34 was mainly deployed in massive waves with infantry riding on the tank that would jump off as soon as they made contact with the enemy. A model of the T-34 was even produced with handel bars for the infantry.
In the battle of Stalingrad some T-34 where built in the factory and as soon as they where completed, where drove out right to the front.
