The 60rd magazine was created because of a recent study showing that combat troops normally have 2 30rd magazines taped together. So the 60rd casket Magazine was created to allow soldiers to carry more ammo in one magazine that weighs less than 2 taped together. This magazine allows soldiers to carry more ammo in there rifles and not have to stop firing after they have fired 30 rds.
The Magazine can be fitted to almost any AK variant chambered for 5.45x39mm M74 Amunition. It will likely be placed in service with RPK-74 gunners or among Spetnaz.
