BMD-4 2A72 30mm cannons mounted coaxily
The 2A72 was designed as a possible replacment for the 2A42. It is mounted on the BMD-4 and BMP-3 vehicles. It is a dual feed weapon that fires the same ammunition as the 2A42 30mm autimatic cannon mounted on the earlier BMP and BMDs.
